Ideal place to stay after we had been to a party locally, lovely and quiet, had everything we needed

Great place to stay. Quirky, homely, warm & the best bed I have slept in for years!! Having to nip out & back in to the loo is not ideal when it’s pouring with rain at midnight, but then I knew that was the deal, and it would not put me off staying again next year for the family bash at West Bay. It’s only a short jump, but ….. Just nice to stay somewhere a bit more unconventional than the run of the mill. A top up of biccys & builders tea bags would be a nice touch for day two, but no big deal.

Flat was just what I needed with easy access to the beach for a powerboat racing weekend. Thank you.

…as it rained for practically the whole time we were there we didn’t get to explore the nature reserve the path of which was practically on the doorstep…easy to walk down to West Bay and to Bridport , though there is a bus stop approximately ten minutes away… buses to Bridport-Lyme Regis and beyond … and to Weymouth in the opposite direction… if you’re lucky enough to get Sunshine the view to West Bay from Angela’s patio is superb.

A lovely, great value, little cabin with everything you need for a stop over. Only thing that was unexpected was the steps up to the cabin but this wasn’t a big issue. Remember the bed is a double but was very comfy. I always wear a face mask to blot out the light and this was helpful here as the curtains are not black out.

We only stayed for 1 night but we were made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed staying here ☺️ great cosy getaway near the sea!

Lovely place to stay for a few days, really beautifully decorated and presented & very clean. Great location. No washing machine but laundrette very nearby, also close to a supermarket. Our only issue was being able to hear conversations from the upstairs apartment and creaky floorboards.

Enjoyed our stay at The Old Bike Shed. Beautiful surroundings within walking distance, with great recommendations from Angela. Angela was a friendly, helpful and accommodating host.

It’s in a great location with a nice walk down to west bay clear of traffic and noise. it is what it is the shower and loo are attached but not connected but are clean and functional and if you are looking for a hassle free peacefull place to just duck away too it’s great.i will be back for sure

logement très propre, cependant un peu cher et nécessiterait une machine à laver pour le prix, il manquerait quelques éléments comme des torchons, éponges, essuie-tout. comme évoqué dans d´autres avis, il est difficile de ne pas tout inonder en se douchant car l´évacuation n´à pas été faite au bon endroit. L´appartement se trouvant au rez-de-chaussée, on entendait le plancher du dessus craquer.l´emplacement et très bien, la location se trouve à mi-chemin a pied entre West Bay et Bridport (15-20min à pied)

Angela was so kind and helpful, she allowed us to check in early as we were going to a wedding. She also offered to book us taxis and always responded to messages in a promptly manor. The cute little bike shed was perfect, clean and tidy, perfect location 5min drive from the beach and lots of useful information if we had needed it. Professional, helpful host. Would definitely stay again.

Very cosy cabin, as described. Angela was very responsive in the run up to the stay and helpfully suggested some restaurants which we made use of. There is a path opposite the house which takes you down to West Bay – though we didn’t get to make use of it due to awful weather for the one night/morning we were there! Only negative was how noisy the recycling toilet is (esp when you are staying with a baby!) but not sure there is much that can be done about that :)Overall, was a lovely little one night stay – thank you!

The annex was perfect for us. Great location for the family wedding at Symondsbury. Well equipped, thoughtful extras.The beds are comfortable, the living area good for just relaxing and watching TV or reading.
